La De Da's Bead and Glitter Craft Bracelets

Beaded Bangle Bracelet Project Back

Create a beautiful beaded bangle bracelet in minutes by using our Ultra Sticky Craft Tape, beads and glitter!

Supplies Needed:

La De Da's Beadable Craft Bracelet Forms
½" Ultra Sticky Craft Tape™
¼" Ultra Sticky Craft Tape™
Lä Dé Dä Seed Beads
Lä Dé Dä Micro Beads
Lä Dé Dä Fine Glitter
Scissors
Small containers with lids
Large clean make-up brush (Optional)

Optional items needed to add extra pizzazz:
Lä Dé Dä Chunky Glitter
Lä Dé Dä Fancy Glitter
Lä Dé Dä Micro Glitz

Place your Seed Beads, Micro Beads, and Glitter into small separate containers. (Tupperware™ works great!)

For best results, make sure your Seed Beads are clean and warm. The cold and humidity effects how the beads will bond. To ensure a secure bond, heat your beads with a heat tool or blow dryer on low until warm to the touch. Ultra Sticky Craft Tape™ cures in about 24-48 hours.

Remember to graduate down (large to small) in the size of the bead or glitter each time you dip your pen. Between each bead and glitter application, brush off or tap off excess beads and glitter.

Directions:

First tape the bracelet using our ½" Ultra Sticky Craft Tape™. Then begin by removing the red liner from the tape around the bracelet and roll in Lä Dé Dä’s Micro Beads. Next place a strip of ¼" Ultra Sticky Craft Tape™ down the center of the bracelet form directly over the Micro Beads. Remove the ¼" liner and dip in Seed Beads. Continue to look at the bracelet carefully to make sure that all the spaces are filled with beads. (There will always be small spaces, but fill any large ones with Seed Beads making sure the long Bugle beads are laying flat.)

Next using your fingers, press all beads down carefully into place and remove all beads on the edges that are not completely adhered for these will fall off anyway. Next graduate down in bead size and dip your bracelet in the Lä Dé Dä Micro Beads again to fill in all the small spaces. Finally dip or brush the bracelet in the Fine Glitter. Between each bead and glitter application, brush excess beads and glitter off the bracelet using a large make-up brush.

Options: For a wider bracelet, tape two bracelets together with our 1" tape.

Tips to Remember!!

Your surface should be free and clear of dirt and grease.
Press beads into the tape using your finger tips to help secure beads into the tape.
Always finish your project with Fine Glitter or Iridescent Glitter!!!!!!
The tape is heat resistant and can be used with embossing powders.
The tape is not water resistant and should not be used on items to be washed.
To remove the glue off of your scissors, use finger nail polish remover or Un-Du®.
Brush off the excess Beads and Glitter in between applications using a large makeup brush.
