Lä Dé Dä Micro Beads
Lä Dé Dä Fine Glitter
36" Silk Ribbon
Scissors

Large clean make-up brush (Optional)
Optional items
needed to add extra pizzazz:
Lä Dé Dä
Micro Glitz
Lä Dé Dä Chunky Glitter
Place your Seed
Beads, Micro Beads, and Glitter into small separate containers. (Tupperware™
works great!)
For
best results, make sure your Seed Beads are clean and warm. The cold and
humidity effects how the beads will bond. To ensure a secure bond, heat your
beads with a heat tool or blow dryer on low until warm to the touch.
Ultra Sticky Craft Tape™ cures in about 24-48 hours.
Remember to graduate down (large to small) in the size of the bead or
glitter each time you dip your pen. Between each bead and glitter
application, brush off or tap off excess beads and glitter.
Directions:
To make your 2"x 5" purse, first
cut your sample pattern out using a scissors and arrange it onto the white
side of the sheet making room for additional purses. Then using a permanent
marker trace the pattern onto the white paper backing of the craft tape
sheet. Cut out the traced pattern using your scissors.
Now partially remove the liner from
one side of the tape and apply the Fine Glitter to the sticky side of the
tape. This will be the inside of your purse! Be extra careful not to
let the sticky sheet fold over onto itself, Try partially removing the liner
in small increments to help prevent the tape from folding.
Next
partially remove the liner from the other side of the purse starting at the
triangular flap. Roll the liner back just below where the flap will fold
over and dip in warm Seed Beads. Carefully check to make sure that all the
spaces on the flap are filled with beads. (There will be small spaces, but
fill any large ones with Seed Beads making sure the long Bugle beads are
laying flat) Using your fingers, press all the beads down carefully into
place and remove all beads on the edges that are not completely adhered for
these will fall off anyway. Continue rolling the liner back and dip the
purse into Micro Beads until the remainder of the outside of the purse is
covered.
Next fill the teeny tiny wholes remaining on the purse with Fine Glitter.
This will be the outside of your purse!
To finish making the purse, apply the ¼" tape strips down
each edge of the inside of the purse as shown on the pattern. (Inside liner
of the purse) Place the sticky tape strip directly over the Fine Glitter.
Remove the tapes red liner and place about 1" of the ends of the ribbon on
either side as shown on the pattern. Now fold the purse up just over the
ribbon and press together to hold the sides of the purse together. Tie the
ends of the silk ribbon into a knot at the desired length for a beautiful
beaded Amulet Necklace.
Options:
Try
using Chunky Glitter or Fine Glitter on the outside of the purse and only
using Seed Beads on the outside of the flap. Or try adding beaded fringe to
the flap or use silk fabric for the lining. Another creative idea is to use
decorative paper as the liner and clear beads on the outside. Let your
imagination soar!

The
sample zebra purse pictured is made just like the purses above except we
used a sheet of zebra scrapbooking paper. First place the Ultra Sticky
Craft Tape Sheets on the front and back sides of the paper. Next cut out
the purse template and glitter the inside lining with "Fushia" Powder Fine
Glitter. Then bead the outside of the purse with "Ice" Micro Beads and
fill with our "Pink" Iridescent Glitter. Finally add the 1/4" tape to the
sides with the ribbon and fold. If the purse flap doesn't want to stay
down, add a small Velcro dot.
Tips to Remember!!
Your surface
should be free and clear of dirt and grease.
Press beads into the tape using your finger tips to help secure beads into
the tape.
The tape is heat resistant and can be used with embossing powders.
The tape is not water resistant and should not be used on items to be
washed.
To remove the glue off of your scissors, use finger nail polish remover or
Un-Du®.
Brush off the excess Beads and Glitter in between applications using a large
makeup brush.
Some great Ideas!
Try
using the beads to embellish Christmas ornaments, picture frames, journals,
scrapbooks, invitations, thank you notes, decorative boxes, lampshades,
wedding accessories, barrettes, hair bands, chop sticks, flip-flops, purses,
pens, jewelry, Easter eggs, candle votives, reading glasses, sunglasses, and
much much more. Let your imagination soar!!!
